Eggs ~ wild birds
This beautiful set is perfect to hold in little hands to feel the softness of the wool and to learn about the different sizes and curves of the eggs. The child can have fun rolling them, throwing them, sorting and counting them, observing the intense colours and spots. And it is always so exciting for the little ones to put something in a basket, empty it and start again!
4 eggs made of Oeko-Tex 100 certified wool felt, high quality and solidly hand sewn in Corsica (France)
Treasures to hide on Easter Day for your children to play with in their kitchens and dinettes. Soft eggs to find out which domestic or wild bird they belong to.
Offer them as a sensory toy, for your child's imitation games and as a beautiful decoration to celebrate spring. Create an opportunity to talk about bird reproduction, the different species and reinforce the child's natural love of nature.
This toy also seeks to educate parents and children about not collecting real bird eggs in the wild.
The eggs are based on wild bird eggs:
- blue spotted egg: sparrow
- large dark beige spotted: gull
- light beige with red spots: titmouse
- mottled white: swallow
All bird eggs are different and vary even within the same species. These are not exact representations of real bird eggs, but based on a variety of sizes, shapes, colours and patterns of many different eggs.
Another set of eggs is available here: eggs of domestic birds.
